Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 30, 1982.
The wavy bend is a canting element, Bach means stream or brook. The village belonged for many centuries to the Weissenburg Abbey, which is symbolized by the crosier. As in 1524 the Abbey became part of the State of Speyer, the village also became part of Speyer, which is symbolized by the blue and white colours. The S is the initial of Schlettenbach and was used on the border stones.
The lower half shows the local church and a star. The star refers to the local court. The green colour refers to the forests in the area.
