Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 21, 1991.
The building is the typical landmark of the town, the town hall dating from the 1920s.
The two small shields represent Neuenhagen (with the 13th century bell of the local church) and Bollensdorf (onion bulb). The bulb is a canting element (for Bolle, dialect for bulb).
