Wappen von Neidenbach/Arms (crest) of Neidenbach
Official blazon
German

In Silber ein blauer, schrägrechts gewendeter Schlüssel, vorn ein roter Schleifstein, hinten eine blaue Kornblume.

English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1977.

The key is the symbol for St. Peter, the local patron saint. The corn flower refers to the agricultural character of the area. The millstone is a symbol for the local sand stone industry.

The colours are those of the State of Trier (red-silver) and Luxembourg (red, silver, blue), to which the area historically belonged.
