German Von Gold und Schwarz geteilt, oben ein wachsender schwarzer, rotbewehrter Bär mit goldenem Halsband, unten eine goldene Ähre, begleitet von zwei goldenen, sechszackigen Sporenrädern.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 13, 1964.

Nesse was historically a possession of the Attena family (see Dornum), whose arms bore a bear. The wheat-ear symbolises the agriculture. The spurs are taken from the arms of Norden to symbolise the ties to this city.
