Official blazon
German In Blau ein silbernes Lokomotivrad durchflochten von einem aufgerichteten goldenen Getreidehalm mit zwei Ähren und drei Blättern.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 15, 1937 and again on May 19, 1994.

The arms combine elements for agriculture (wheatears) and industry (wheel). The town was known for the construction of steam locomotives at the time. The original design from 1935 had the field as red, but the municipality decided on a blue background instead.

The arms were no longer used after 1945, but were again used after 1994.
