VERBANDSGEMEINDE WALLHALBEN

State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Südwestpfalz

Wappen von Verbandsgemeinde Wallhalben

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 20, 1973.

The arms show the arms of the three main rulers in the region; the lion from the Dukes of Pfalz-Zweibrücken, the balls (in inverted colours) of the Counts of Sickingen and the eagle for the Counts of Leiningen. The bordure is a common symbol for a Verbandsgemeinde.
