Incorporated into : 1972 Achern

Origin/meaning
Mösbach belonged until 1803 to the State and diocese of Strassburg (now Strasbourg, France). From 1803-1972 it was a separate municipality.
The oldest known seal dates from the early 19th century and shows a standing knight, but not on a shield. In 1910 the council asked for a new seal with appropriate arms. The State Archives proposed the present arms, as cherries were one of the major crops in the village. The arms were adopted in February 1910.
