District (Kreis) : Zollernalbkreis

Wappen von Weilen unter den Rinnen

Official blazon

(de) In Rot ein silberner Balken, belegt mit einem achtstrahligen roten Stern zwischen den roten Großbuchstaben V und R.

Origin/meaning

The arms probably originate from the 19th century. The shield shows the arms of Austria, as the area belonged to Austria from 1381-1805. The Austrian arms still appear on the seal of the village from 1830. In the middle of the century the stars and the letters (VR for Unter den Rinnen) appear.
