Official blazon

In Gold ein Abt mit schwarzer Kutte, die Rechte mit zwei ausgestreckten Fingern segnend erhoben und in der Linken einen silbernen Kelch haltend, begleitet oben von zwei blauen Sternen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 8, 1994.

The arms show a canting abbot, which also appeared on the oldest known seal of the village, dating from 1739.

The two stars symbolise the two villages in the municipality, Abtsbessingen and Billeben.
