In Silber drei (2:1) schneckenförmig gewundene rote Aale.

Origin/meaning

The arms show the arms of the Counts of Alsleben, who became extinct in 1126. Some images from the 16th and 17^th century show three eels instead of three roses in the lower part of the arms. These are probably canting (Aale=eel).
