Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted in September 1980.
The arms show two hills in the area, the Bückeberg and Süntel, with in between a beech tree with 16 leaves. The beech is a common tree in the area and each leaf represents one of the former municipalities. The wavy bar symbolises the Aue after which the municipality is named. The Nesselblatt symbolises the Schaumburg District.
