Official blazon

  • (de) Gespalten von Rot und Silber; vorne ein aus zwei Reihen silberner Rauten gebildeter Schrägbalken, hinten ein roter, mit einem schwarzen Kreuz gekrönter Turm mit offenem Torbogen.

Origin/meaning

The first half shows the arms of the lOrds of Bickenbach, to whom the village belonged until 1469. The tower refers to the so-called towerhouses in the village in medieval times.
