Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on January 18, 1984. Darstein belonged until 1793 to the Lindelbronn Estate, which was owned by the Counts von Leiningen-Hardenburg-Dagsburg. The eagle and the colours of the arms are taken from the original arms of the Counts of Leiningen. The base is taken from the seal of the local sheriff Stoffel von Darstein from 1750.
