Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on September 1, 1928, but the beehive already appeared on the local seal in 1884.

The number of bees varied between 1884 and 1928 from zero to eight, but was later fixed to seven. Even though there have been many explanations for the number of the bees, the number is chosen rather arbitrarily. The meaning of the beehive as such is also not known.
