Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 13, 1967.

The upper half is taken from the arms of the Diocese of Freising, to which the village historically belonged. The lower half shows a saltire, symbol for St. Andrew, the local patron saint. The two small flowers symbolise the protected nature reserve in the municipality.
