State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Unstrut-Hainich Kreis
Incorporated into : 1994 Mühlhausen
German | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 20, 1994.
The arms show element from the former seal of the village. The farmer's shoe symbolises the farmer's revolt in Thüringen in 1524/25 which was at its strongest in the area near Mühlhausen and Görmar. The sun is used as a general symbol for hope and new beginnings.
As the village was incorporated on June 30, the arms have been valid only for 10 days....
