GROSS-EISLINGEN

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Göppingen
Incorporated into : 1933 Eislingen/Fils

Wappen von Großeislingen

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1906 and are a combination of the deer antler of Württemberg on the arms of the Würzburg. The main part of the village belonged to Würzburg until 1806 when it became a possession of Württemberg. The original red and white of Würzburg were accidentally replaced by the Bavarian blue.
