Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 19, 1958.

The whoite elephant is taken from the arms of the Counts of Helfenstein, to whom the village belonged from 1351-1448. The bar is taken from the arms of the Anhausen monastery, which had some possessions in the municipality.
