Im silbernen Schildhaupt auf einem goldenen Dreiberg ein schwarzer Zinnenturm, belegt mit einem silbernen Schildchen, darin ein waagerechter roter Zickzackbalken.

Origin/meaning

The arms show the local castle, known from the 13th century, destroyed in 1689 and restored in 1893. The small shield shows the arms of the Lords of Kerpen and the Kerpen estate, which included a number of villages in the area.
