Von Silber über Rot geteilt und oben gespalten durch einen blauen Wellenpfahl, vorn ein eintürmiges, betagleuchtetes, schwarzes Kirchenwestwerk, hinten ein roter Balken, unten ein wachsender, blaugezungter und bewehrter goldener leopardierter Löwe.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 9, 2010.

The arms show the local church tower in the first half in the colours of the State of Köln. The wavy pale refers to the Eipbach river. The red bar is silver is taekn from the locl Lords of Ütgenbach. The lion is taken from the arms of the Counts of Sayn, to whom the village historically belonged.
