Rechts in Gold der schwarze St. Gallische Bär, links in Silber das halbe rote Freiburger Kreuz.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on ??-??- 1956.

The arms shows in the right half the bear of Sankt Gallen. The village was a possession of this Swiss monastery from the 8th century until 1297. The left half shows the cross Freiburg city, that owned the village from 1492-1805.
