Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 19, 1999.

The oak branch refers to the old oak tree, planted in the 1630s and a natural landmark since 1989. The cross is the symbol for the Stuben Abbey, to which the churches of Kliding and Urschmitt historically belonged.

The mill wheel refers to the former watermills in the area, owned by the Stuben Abbey and known since 1454 and 1761. The horseshoe refers to the historical estate farm in the village and agriculture in general.
