Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 4, 1967.
The division of the shield refers to the division of the municipality by the Prims river. The rose is taken from the arms of the Counts of Blieskastel, to whom the area historically belonged. The tower refers to the ancient fortress in the municipality.
