Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 3, 1951.
Lot municipality was created in 1927 from parts of Dworp and Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. The arms combine elements from the arms of these two municipalities; the lion from Sint-Pieters-Leeuw and the castles from Dworp.
