Later the village bacame part of Pfalz-Zweibrücken, Pfalz-Veldenz and Kurpfalz. The blue wavy bend symbolises the Mühlbach river. Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 20, 1968.
The arms show a blue lion, which is taken from the arms of the Counts of Veldenz, to which the village historically belonged.
