The arms were officially granted on May 20, 1968.
The arms were officially granted on May 20, 1968.


The arms show a blue lion, which is taken from the arms of the Counts of Veldenz, to which the village historically belonged. Later the village bacame part of Pfalz-Zweibrücken, Pfalz-Veldenz and Kurpfalz. The blue wavy bend symbolises the Mühlbach river. The three blue stars are taken from the seal of the [[Reichenbach-Steegen|Reichenbach]] court, which had the jurisdiction over Mühlbach for many centuries.
