Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 17, 1996.
The right half of the arms shows a wheel and a stream, symbolising the three historical water mills in the municipality. The stream symbolises the Triebebach. The left half shows a sword and chalice, symbols of St. Barbara, patron saint of the village of Piesigitz.
