German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

RIEDBAHN

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Darmstadt-Dieburg
Part of : Weiterstadt

Riedbahn.jpg

Official blazon

In Blau ein silberner Schräglinkszwillingsstreifen, beseitet von einem goldenen Ring mit Stein und einem goldenen Tannenzapfen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1993, but as Riedbahn is not an own municipality, have not been officially granted.

The arms show a blue bend with two smaller silver bends, which refer to the former railroad track (Bahn) after which the borough is named. The ring is taken from the arms of Weiterstadt and the pine cone refers to the pine forests in the area.
