Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 17, 1985.

The arms are based on the arms of two important local families, which lived on the local estate. The linden branches are taken from the arms of the Lords von Seckendorff, who lived on the estate from the 18th century onwards. The small shield with the scythe is taken from the arms of the Lords von Streitberg, who lived in the village in the 15th and 16th century. The wavy division symbolises the Leinleiter river. The green colour in the chief refers to the local nature.
