German | Unter silbernem Schildhaupt, darin ein schreitender, rot bewehrter und rot bezungter, hersehender schwarzer Löwe (Leopard), in Rot ein silberner Wellen-Schräglinksbalken. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on January 19, 1959.
The wavy bend refers to the -bach (stream, brook) part of the name. The chief shows the leopard from the arms of the Hohenlohe family and thus represents the region and the Hohenlohe district.
Prior to 1959 the seal of the council showed three trees.
