Winklarno.jpg

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1577 and appear on the seal made in the same year. The bar and fox are taken from the arms of Andreas von Murach, the Lord of the manor at the time. The trefoil and hook (Winkel, a canting symbol), probably were already used since the 14th century as village symbols. The arms have not changed since.
