Official blazon

Geviert; 1 und 4: in Rot ein aufspringendes silbernes Ross, 2 und 3: in Silber ein golden gekrönter roter Löwe; alle Figuren einander zugewendet.

Origin/meaning

The arms were designed and granted in 1884.

The arms are those of the Villinger von Schöneberg family in slighlty different colours, who acquired the village in 1515 and granted market rights in 1568.
