NIEDERWENIGERN
State : Nordrhein-Westfalen
District (Kreis) : Ennepe-Ruhr Kreis
Incorporated into : 1926 Hattingen (Ruhr)
German |
Origin/meaningThe municipality never used arms, these arms were adopted as village arms in the 1980s. The cross is taken from the arms of the State of Köln and the chequy parts from the arms of the County of Mark. The area historically was part of the Mark in the State of Köln. The grape vines indicate the origin of the Wenigern-name, which means grape (or wine)-garden. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
