German In Gold ein ausgerissener grüner Lindenbaum, der Stamm belegt mit einem kleinen roten Schild, darin ein silberner Adler mit goldener Bewehrung.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 29, 2001.

The arms are known from the 14th century seals of the city. The linden tree is a canting element, the eagle is the arms of the Lords of Ruppin, who founded the city.
