FREIOLSHEIM
State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Rastatt
Incorporated into : 1971 Gaggenau
Official blazon
(de) In Silber ein schwarzer Rechen, begleitet von zwei blau besamten roten Rosen.
Origin/meaning
The rake as a symbol for Freiolsheim appears for the first time in a seal dating from 1751. The rake remains the only symbol until 1900.
In June 1900 the concil applied for new arms at the State Archives. These proposed the above arms, in which the roses of the Lords of Eberstein, who owned many goods in the municipality, were added to the rake.
