Wappen von Hemsbach (Rhein-Neckar Kreis)/Arms (crest) of Hemsbach (Rhein-Neckar Kreis)
Official blazon
German In Silber ein schwarzes Joch (Lenkscheit), begleitet oben und unten von je einer roten Rose mit grünen Kelchblättern.
English blazon wanted

The arms were officially granted in 1910, but are based on the oldest seal of the village, known since 1490. The arms show a yoke and two roses. The yoke probably is a symbol for agriculture, the roses may be a symbol of justice, but their origin is not quite clear. The colours were finally determined in 1910 as no historical colours were known.
