Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1956.

The upper part of the arms shows a grill, the symbol of St. Lawrence the patron saint of the local church. The lower half shows three fleur-de-lys for the patron saint of the Steinfeld Abbey, St. Potentius, as the abbey historically owned a large part of the municipality.
