English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 11, 1977.

The arms show the initials of the village taken from a seal of the village from 1742. Black and gold are the colours of the Pfalz region, in which the village is situated. The other half shows the lion of the Counts of Veldenz, the former rulers in the area.

Literature: Debus, 1988
